Skookum indeed

Nikki doesn't usually show up on film, but I managed to capture this rare image while her light-bending force-field was tired from riding up a stupid big hill.

Yesterday we revived an old tradition and rode the Test of Metal course in Squamish. The revival was possible because one of our friends is racing it again this year. Nikki is 2013's ritual sacrifice, and I hope she wants to do it again next year so we can do the pre-ride again... because I don't want to have to race it.
