We're home!

On the way we stopped off in Ashland, Waldo Lake, and Mount Saint Helens for biking, pizza, and other fun. Here is the evidence.

We're about to head north for Mount St. Helens, but before we go, here are pictures of the Battle of the Bay SUP race, which Lina won... and me enjoying my own historic moment in mountain biking.

We've spent the pat few days riding around Graeagle and Downieville. The trails are dusty and the towns are small and... well, generally quire weird. All the mountain biking essentials are catered for though with trails to ride, rivers to swim in, free camping, and shops that sell beer.

Next stop in San Rafael for another SUP race and a chance to ride in Marin Country for the first time. As a homage to one of the many claimed birthplaces of mountain biking I might ride in a flannel shirt and do skids around all the corners. Or, I might just wear the shirt.
